Ordering
When can I order?
We have not set a date yet. Leave your email on Notify me and we will write once, when ordering opens. You can browse every product now.
Why are there no prices?
Prices are not set yet, so we do not show any. We will publish prices when ordering opens.
Do you ship?
Not yet, because we are not taking orders. Shipping terms, including where we ship, will be published on our Shipping and returns page before ordering opens.
What about returns and warranty?
Return, cancellation and warranty terms will be published on the same Shipping and returns page before ordering opens.
Choosing a system
Which system fits my rig?
Start with what you want to run. Add up the watts on each device’s label and compare them with the inverter ratings in each parts list guide.
Then look at how you charge. Systems 2 and 4 include a DC-DC charger, so the vehicle charges the batteries while you drive. System 4 uses two flexible panels. The others use rigid 100 W panels.
Every list is a 12 V system. Compare them side by side on our System parts lists page. A qualified installer can size a system for your loads.
What comes in a system?
A system is a parts list: panels, a charge controller, 12 V lithium batteries and the parts that go with them. Each part is a separate product from its manufacturer. Cable, mounts, and the fuses that go in the fuse blocks are not included. Choose them for your wiring.
Can a system run an air conditioner?
None of our parts lists includes an inverter sized for an air conditioner or other large loads. Each guide lists its inverter’s ratings where we have the manufacturer’s figures. Compare them with the running watts and start-up surge on your device’s label.
Can I buy single parts instead of a whole system?
Every part in a system also has its own page in the shop, with key specs from the manufacturer. Ordering is not open yet for any product.
Parts and installation
What does “checked against manufacturer ratings” mean?
Before a part goes on a list, we read its ratings in the manufacturer’s documents and check them against the other parts on the list, such as panel voltage against the charge controller’s limit. A parts list is not an engineered design, a permitted installation or a promise of runtime or performance. How we check parts explains each check.
Do you install systems?
No. We do not install, wire or inspect systems. Battery and electrical work can be dangerous. Confirm equipment choices and installation rules with a qualified professional and the manufacturers, and follow each manufacturer’s instructions.
Why are there no product photos?
We only show images we have the right to use. Until then, each product shows a drawing of its type with its model name. Every part page lists the manufacturer’s part number, so you can look it up on the manufacturer’s site.
How do I ask a question?
